The banner was made using the "what pics do I currently have on my hard drive that would work well against a white background". From left to right, the characters pictured are: Toot & Puddle, Christopher Robin & Pooh, Milo and Tallullah from Milo Armadillo by Jan Fearney, Olivia, Elephant & Piggie, Moomintroll and Big Mean Mike & Bunnies from Big Mean Mike by Michelle Knudson. Sadly books for teenagers don't lend themselves to small, cute images that look good against a white background.
