I'm in the middle of re-reading all the HP books now. It's kind of crazy the amount of little moments I've forgotten, but seriously love these books now as much as I did the first time I read them. Maybe more even. And I love all the characters too.

In terms of prompts, some of the things I love are missing moments or adventures from when they were at Hogwarts. I love all kinds of Deathly Hallows or post-DH fic. A fic set post-DH with Harry talking to Portrait Dumbles would be all kinds of awesome. Or maybe some new adventure where they need advice from him.

I'm also curious about the Slytherin girls because we see so little of them. Any part of canon reimagined from their viewpoints would be fun. Or a post-canon thing where they become friends/co-workers/lovers of the others is good too.

I adore gen fic, but if you want to write shipfic, I ship the three girls together in all combinations and I also ship Harry/Hermione. (Though I would so read Harry with either of the other two as well.)

Any genre is seriously okay. I love angst, hurt/comfort, dark!fic, romance, adventure, humor, whatever you want. Also, feel free to include any characters not nominated or selected if you want and they fit the story. I prefer those above as main characters, but I'm cool with other people being mentioned/having small roles if that's the direction you want to go.

My only DNWs: Please no Ron/Hermione or Harry/Ginny unless it's background mentions. I am definitely a EWE believer

Black Widow Series - Margaret Stohl

So I'm not actually done reading these books yet, but I already really love them. I've loved Nat since the movies, but I really like this version of her as well as all the other characters.

I'd love to know more about Alexei and Ava backstory wise (and, well, Nat, too, based off of things we learn). I also love missing scenes, characters studies and canon divergent AUs. Some kind of AU (or some wacky time travel thing) where we could see what could have been between Nat and Alex would be great, or an AU where everyone lives.

Ramona Series - Beverly Cleary
Ramona Quimby, Beatrice "Beezus" Quimby, Roberta Quimby

So unlike the two above, this is my actual childhood request. The Ramona books were what I grew up reading and fell in love with.

I would love to see a through-the-years type thing, or fic set after the books, just to see what happened to these characters. The relationship between the sisters is especially curious to me. Do they get along? Are they close? Did someone have a falling out? Or maybe you want to explore big moments in their lives — first kiss, prom, college, marriage, etc.

You can take it wherever you want — it can be sweet and happy and everyone lives (mostly) happily ever after or if you want to go darker, that's cool too. Life isn't all puppies and rainbows so fic most definitely doesn't need to be either!

Allison (Wayside School), Miss Zarves (Wayside School), Dana (Wayside School), Mark Miller (Wayside School), Benjamin Nushmutt

For Allison, Miss Zarves, Benjamin, and/or Mark, I'm thinking maybe some follow-up or canon divergence from "Wayside School is Falling Down." Does Allison ever understand what she was on the cusp of figuring out at the end? Does Mark ever escape the nineteenth story, or does he want to? What about the rest of Miss Zarves' class? How does Benjamin deal with being transferred away to his new school after the cowing, and does the administration there recognize his name any better? Anything playing off of this subplot would be great.

For Dana, we know based on "Falling Down" that she "hates stories" because of the way they make her feel sad, but Mrs. Jewls tells her that means she really loves them. I'd love to see her a few years down the line as a fanfiction writer, discovering fix-it fic and putting her own twist on classic downers. Feel free to go as meta as you want. If this prompt doesn't appeal to you, I'd be happy to see anything else related to Dana and John or the others on the 30th floor.
