I am nominating The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett. I just finished it. Tiffany Aching is a wonderful heroine and the Wee Free Men are a hoot.

The Wee Free Men are great! They're always my favorite parts of the Tiffany Aching books. (Not that the rest of the books aren't great as well, of course.)
